Mother’s Day

I got to thinking earlier about all the sweet things mothers are given or treated to on Mother’s Day and I did get a little sad knowing I won’t get taken out to dinner, receive a gift, get breakfast in bed or any of that other crap.

I have had the boys every morning except 3 in the last year. That means I haven’t slept in, I haven’t awakened on my own but 3 times in one whole year. I’ll be up early again Sunday and making all the meals.

Hell, the closest I’ve come to breakfast in bed is finding Pop Tart crumbs in my bed from when Jake climbed in after eating breakfast one morning.

Thanks to all of you caregivers out there:)
